Where does mercury come from?
Mercury is a naturally occurring metal that can take different forms. The most common form would be organic or inorganic mercury, although it can also come as a gas.
What are the health effects of mercury?
Most concerns related to mercury come from human consumption through food. However, well water can also contain damaging levels of mercury. Long-term exposure can potentially lead to kidney damage and/or cancer.
